(WARNING: Make sure you use dd command correctly – typing the command wrong can result in damage to your existing filesystem):

GNU Guile
GNU Guile est la langue d'extension officielle du système. GNU
a en effet été orienté Lisp depuis son annonce en 1983. Cependant, le
système est construit et compilé en C pour la compatibilité avec UNIX. Texinfo est le format de documentation officiel pour le projet. On
peut également citer les améliorations apportées à plusieurs logiciels
libres alternatifs à ceux d'UNIX: bash, coreutils, bibliothèque C,
compilateurs, etc. Enfin, l'architecture du noyau, The Hurd, consiste en
un réseau de serveurs distribués fonctionnant sur un GNU Mach.
Toutes les commandes UNIX ont également été réimplémentées et sont maintenues dans le cadre du projet. Il est également responsable de diverses normes innovantes, telles que les options longues 2. Les développements répondent enfin aux normes de codage GNU.
