Pour les utilisateurs soucieux de leur vie privée et qui ne souhaitent plus être importuné par des annonces personnalisées, voici la procédure pour désactiver l’identifiant publicitaire.

Ouvrez les paramètres de votre smartphone Android
Cliquez sur la rubrique Google
Dans la rubrique Services, sélectionnez l’option AnnoncesPersonnaliser les paramètres d’affichages des annonces pub sur Android
Appuyez sur l’interrupteur pour désactiver la personnalisation des annoncesArrêter l’affichage de bannières publicitaires personnalisées

Une fois cette option activée, les applications ne pourront plus utiliser cet identifiant unique pour afficher des annonces personnalisées. Attention, les bannières de publicité continueront de s’afficher mais par contre elles ne seront plus sélectionnées en fonction de vos centres d’intérêts et de vos habitudes de navigation. Autre détail important, si vous videz le cache des applications pour libérer de l’espace sur votre téléphone, la fonction d’identification publicitaire se réactivera automatiquement.
Renouveler son identifiant publicitaire

Pour mettre un terme au ciblage et vous assurez une protection optimale, il est également recommandé de réinitialiser l’identifiant publicitaire. Cette opération qui ne vous prendra pas plus de 10 secondes, permettra de supprimer toutes les recherches et les données liés à votre identifiant.

Dans les paramètres Google que vous venez d’ouvrir pour désactiver le suivi publicitaire vous allez trouver une fonction intitulée Réinitialiser votre identifiant
Cliquez dessus
Validez votre choix en appuyant sur le bouton Ok dans la fenêtreSupprimer les données collectées en réinitialisant l’identifiant publicitaire

Google va alors vous attribuer un nouvel identifiant publicitaire. Les anciennes données collectées avec votre ancien numéro seront automatiquement supprimées. A noter que même si vous désactivez la personnalisation des annonces publicitaires, Google continuera de recueillir des informations sur vos centres d’intérêts. Voilà pourquoi il est recommandé de réinitialiser son identifiant publicitaire plusieurs fois par mois.
